Silo is a household resilience application that helps users track supplies, manage inventories, build emergency kits, read preparedness guides, receive emergency feeds, use AI-assisted planning, and coordinate with household or private network groups. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
  • Transmit harmful, abusive, or objectionable content through community features
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use the App to collect information about other users without consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

5. Household and Private Network Groups

When using household or private network features:

  • You are responsible for content you share within groups
  • Household or network administrators may manage membership and shared data
  • Shared inventory context is visible to the members you choose to share with
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms

6. AI-Assisted Planning

The AI-assisted planning features provide general recommendations only. These recommendations:

  • Are not professional emergency management advice
  • Should not replace official emergency guidance from authorities
  • Are generated based on available data and may not be comprehensive
  • Should be used as a supplementary planning tool only

7. Emergency Feeds and Alerts

Silo provides emergency feed and alert information as a convenience. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of emergency alerts. Always follow official emergency instructions from local authorities and emergency services.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms:

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices may change with reasonable notice
  • Refunds are handled according to the respective app store's policies
  • Current membership tiers and beta access may change before public launch

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of Silo are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on preparedness information, emergency alerts, or AI recommendations provided by the App.

11. Disclaimer

Silo is a planning and organisational tool. It does not guarantee personal safety or emergency outcomes. Users should always follow guidance from official emergency services and qualified professionals.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
