Does Silo work offline?

Yes. Silo is offline-first. Your core inventory, emergency kits, guides and readiness data are stored locally on your device. Cloud sync is used when available for backup, multi-device access and household or network features.

What does the camera do?

The camera is used for barcode scanning only. The camera feed is processed on-device to read product barcodes. Silo does not save or upload photos or video from barcode scanning.

What are Emergency Feeds?

Emergency Feeds surface real-world signals such as severe weather, earthquakes, disaster feeds and health alerts where available. They are planning aids, not a replacement for official emergency instructions.

What is the Guides Library?

The Guides Library stores preparedness references such as PDFs, text files, and offline reading material so you can keep useful information available when connectivity is poor.

How do Emergency Kits work?

Emergency Kits help you plan go-bags and household kits. You can track what should be packed, what is already packed, and where key supplies live.

What are Resilient and Household memberships?

Silo's planned paid tiers are Resilient and Household. Resilient adds AI-guided planning, barcode scanning, cloud backup, emergency feeds, emergency kits, security inventory and higher limits. Household adds family accounts, shared inventory, group check-ins, location sharing and higher AI limits. During beta, billing behaviour may be test-only.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and associated data from within app settings when available. You can also use our account and data deletion request page or contact privacy@appforge.world.

How does Your Network work?

Your Network is for private coordination with family and trusted neighbours. It is not a public social network. Sharing controls depend on the feature and membership level.
